The current Polyplastics Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture of Dainippon Celluloid Co., Ltd. of Japan (now Daicel Corporation) and Celanese Corporation of the U.S. (capital: ¥1.6 billion, head office: Osaka )

Fuji Plant completed Japan’s first POM plant (7,500 tons annual production)
