Fire breaks out at the compound line of Kuantan Plant in Malaysia
(Polyplastics Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd.)

Polyplastics Co., Ltd.

A fire broke out at the compound line of Kuantan Plant of Polyplastics Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. which is our Malaysian Group company before dawn today. The fire was extinguished at 8:20 Japan time (7:20 Malaysia time), and there was no human damage.

The operation of POM polymer line, which is independent of the compound line, has not been affected.

We are currently investigating the damage to facility and etc.
We will report as soon as the details become available.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused by fire to the local resident and all concerned.
