We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support and patronage of our products. Due to the revision of the PFAS*1 law in the U.S., we would like to report the results of our investigation on the products that we have announced since December 2023, including products that have been discontinued and blended products made by mixing multiple products. We would like to ask for your understanding in this matter, and ask for your repeated confirmation of the subject products.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued reporting and recordkeeping requirements for PFAS under the TSCA^※2 on October 11, 2023. This final rule was effective on November 13, 2023.

PFAS to be Reported

PFAS that meet the definition in “§705.3”, and mixtures and articles containing PFAS (including research and development purpose).

Reporting information

Information specified in “§705.15” or “§705.18” related to the manufacture and import to USA of the above-mentioned PFAS, mixtures and articles containing PFAS in any year between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2022.

Reporting period

Report only once between November 12, 2024 and May 8, 2025.

Reporter

Any person that manufactures (including import) or has manufactured (including imported) PFAS or PFAS-containing mixtures and articles.

 

This regulation requires companies that have imported the above-mentioned “applicable PFAS” into the United States between 2011 and 2022 to collect information on PFAS content and report it to the EPA.
We therefore report our applicable products (mixtures) that contain the above-mentioned “applicable PFAS” in Annex1 and Annex2.
If you or your downstream users import our applicable products or molded articles into the United States, this information is likely to be necessary to comply with the above regulations, so please check it.
If you need information not listed here, such as the PFAS content in our applicable products, in order to comply with this regulation, please contact our sales representative.
