We believe that our corporate social responsibility (CSR) is contributing to shape an abundant future for society through our engineering plastic business as mentioned in the Corporate Philosophy. We approach CSR from the dual angles of business activities (including our engineering plastics business, harmony with environment, human resources development, and compliance) and contributions to society.

【Key Highlights from FY2024 Activities】

In response to rapidly evolving global environmental regulations and the increasing environmental demands of our customers, we launched the DURACIRCLE^® brand to deliver comprehensive solutions. To support the shift toward carbon neutrality, we also established the xEV Task Force within the Daicel Group to offer a wide range of optimal materials and technologies for the expanding xEV market.

From an environmental standpoint, as part of our action against the worsening climate crisis, we are working to cut 50% of the Daicel Group’s total GHG emissions by 2030 (compared to 2018). Measures include introducing advanced control technologies at overseas plants and reducing CO₂ emissions through improved transport loading rate.

Considering human resource development, we held Diversity Week to further promote understanding of DE&I and to accelerate the creation of a workplace where diverse talent can thrive.
