【Video】Comparing Damping Vibration Properties with Sound: Long Cellulose Fiber Reinforced PP vs. Glass Fiber Reinforced PBT
In Our Approach page released in February 2025, we introduced PLASTRON® LFT RA627P, a polypropylene (PP) resin reinforced with 30% long cellulose fiber. This material offers low density, high elasticity, and excellent damping properties.
To help our customers experience the vibration damping properties more intuitively, we have created a video. In this video, we compare PLASTRON® LFT RA627P with a PBT resin reinforced with 30% short glass fiber, using sound and waveforms. We invite you to watch and experience the difference.
Verifying Vibration Damping Properties Through Sound!
Key Features of PLASTRON® LFT RA627P
– A new grade of PP resin that combines 30% cellulose fiber, a biomass material, and achieves reduced environmental impact compared to conventional products through manufacturing process innovations.
– With its low density, high elasticity, and excellent vibration damping properties, it is ideal for use in components exposed to vibration, such as speaker diaphragms, acoustic equipment parts, EV motor peripheral components, head-up display housings, and various types of fans.
