LAPEROS® LCP: ISCC PLUS Certification Earned
About ISCC PLUS Certification
Polyplastics has earned ISCC PLUS certification, a leading international certification system for sustainable products, at its Fuji Plant in July 2025. ISCC PLUS certification ensures sustainable raw materials, such as recycled materials and biomass materials, are properly managed throughout the supply chain, including product manufacturing. This certification enables us to manufacture and sell ISCC PLUS-certified LCP resins using sustainable raw materials via mass balance approach*1.

About LAPEROS® LCP
LCP is a leading super engineering plastic with a thinness and fluidity unmatched by typical engineering plastics. Heat-resistant and possessing exceptional mechanical strength, LCP has the unique attribute that the thinner the product becomes, the greater its mechanical strength per unit cross-sectional area. Moreover, it has a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, close to that of metal.
LAPEROS® LCP is widely used in super miniature precision connectors for ever-smaller IT devices like tablets and smartphones, and boasts the world’s leading market share*3.
Declaration Regarding ISCC PLUS Requirements
We hereby declare that we comply with the latest provisions of ISCC and adhere to the ISCC PLUS requirements, and that we do not engage in double counting regarding environmental contributions.
*1 The mass balance approach is a management approach approved under the ISCC PLUS system, where products manufactured by mixing sustainable raw materials with other raw materials are allocated components in the product proportional to the percentage of sustainable raw materials used.
